BIOGRAPHY

Tristin graduated from Washburn University School of Law in May of 2024. During his time at Washburn Law, Tristin was involved in several organizations, including acting as the 1L Class Representative for the Washburn Student Bar Association and as Vice Justice for the Benson Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity. After Tristin’s first year of law school, Tristin worked as a legal intern for the Kansas Department of Commerce and as a law clerk for Butler & Associates, P.A. in Topeka, Kansas. He continued his employment with Butler & Associates during his second year of law school until March 2023, when he began working as a law clerk for Barton and Burrows, LLC. Upon graduation, Tristin was admitted as a member of the Kansas Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Kansas.

             Since law school, Tristin has practiced law as an associate attorney at Barton and Burrows, LLC. He has a passion for oil and gas litigation and primarily handles matters associated with royalty underpayment disputes in the Piceance and DJ Basins in Colorado, as well as other civil litigation matters.
