BIOGRAPHY
Seth attended Washburn University School of Law, where he focused his studies on oil and gas law. During law school, Seth competed on Washburn’s American Bar Association and Texas Young Lawyers Association trial teams. As a result of his performance on these teams, he received the Hall Leadership and Excellence in Advocacy award for his teamwork and oral advocacy skills. In addition to competing on multiple trial teams, Seth interned at the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism during his second and third years of law school. He graduated in 2016 and is licensed to practice law in Kansas.
After law school, Seth began his legal career in Southwest Kansas. He handled a variety of legal issues for both individuals and small businesses for over two years. Seth relocated to Overland Park with his wife and daughter in 2018 and began practicing at The Law Office of George A. Barton, P.C. His practice focused on royalty underpayment disputes and other civil litigation matters.
