Plaintiffs Sharon Salgado and Roy Royalty, Inc., individually and on behalf of a class of similarly situated persons, have brought suit against Antero Resources Corporation alleging that Antero Resources Corporation underpaid natural gas royalties between November 1, 2007 and December 21, 2012, by improperly deducting post-production costs from royalty payments, thereby breaching the Plaintiffs’ and the class members’ lease agreements.

On August 24, 2026, the District Court for Garfield County, Colorado preliminarily approved a proposed class action settlement agreement reached between the Plaintiffs and Antero Resources Corporation. The proposed class-wide settlement relates to Antero’s calculation and payment of natural gas royalties pursuant to certain royalty agreements.
